A gang of teenage thugs ambushed a civilian member of the Baltimore Police Department and brutally beat the man in the middle of a street.
Police say the victim was walking to work at police headquarters around 6 a.m. when he was assaulted and robbed. The teen thugs also stole the man’s car.
The attack happened just days after the deputy police commissioner and his wife were robbed at gunpoint.
Mayor Jack Young told Fox 45 he was sickened by what happened to the police department staffer.
“The parents of these young people who are continuing to embarrass the city of Baltimore by some of these acts of violence, I want them to start talking to their children and say enough is enough,” the mayor told the television station.
Maybe they should start throwing the parents in jail, too.
