WNBA Star Caitlin Clark Apologizes For Being White

WNBA star Caitlin Clark shocked conservatives across the nation when she took a knee to the critical race theory crowd and apologized for being white.

Clark’s mea culpa came during an interview with TIME after the magazine named her their 2024 athlete of the year.

Did Caitlin Clark do the right thing by apologizing? Vote in my poll below:

“I want to say I’ve earned every single thing, but as a white person, there is privilege,” she said. “A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them.”

TIME explained that “Clark is cognizant of the racial underpinnings of her stardom.”

“The more we can appreciate that, highlight that, talk about that, and then continue to have brands and companies invest in those players that have made this league incredible, I think it’s very important. I have to continue to try to change that. The more we can elevate Black women, that’s going to be a beautiful thing,” Clark added.

The reaction from conservatives was swift and severe. Many were disappointed that the 22-year-old sports superstar would embrace the left’s race agenda.

“Caitlin Clark Bends Knee to the Woke Mob, Says White People Have ‘Privilege,'” read the headline on Breitbart.

“No one was asking for Caitlin Clark to position herself as a right-wing hero,” said former NCAA swimmer and conservative activist Riley Gaines. “All she needed to do was remain neutral. She’s a phenom who inspires countless young girls to play & achieve, so I still have great admiration for her, but she missed the mark on this one.”

Caitlin Clark seems like a very compassionate and good-hearted person But if she really is remorseful for being born white, she should rescind TIME magazine’s athlete of the year award. She should also distribute all of her earnings to black teammates and then resign from the WNBA — under the condition that she be replaced by a minority player.
