Country superstar Carrie Underwood is getting attacked by the Twitter mob for liking conservative columnist Matt Walsh’s anti-mask video.
“Carrie Underwood liked my video and now the mob is coming for her,” Walsh wrote. “She should know better than to like something that they don’t like. This is an unforgivable sin.”
The “American Idol” alum who boasts more than 8 million followers simply hit the heart button on Wash’s speech at the Nashville School Board in Tennessee where he “spoke out against the cruel and indefensible mask mandate for children.”
Walsh tweeted another sarcastic tweet: “Like anyone else, I am upset and disturbed that Carrie Underwood liked one of my tweets. She should know better than to indirectly endorse the opinions of an extremist and scoundrel such as myself. Her lack of judgment is appalling. I demand that she renounce me and apologize.”
Daily Wire entertainment reporter Megan Basham said the “Leftist mob’ is now claiming Underwood is “anti-vax” even though Walsh never mentions that in his talk.
Although many have come after Underwood, she did get support from conservatives.
