The director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. Francis Collins, picked up his guitar and played “Somewhere Past the Pandemic” in a cringe-worthy video sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Somewhere past the pandemic, when we’re free,” Collins sings. ” There’s a life I remember, full of activity.”
He sings of no more masks, quarantines, fears, and more all thanks to a “safe vaccine.”
National radio host Todd Starnes slammed the NIH director as a “moron” for the song.
“I think I would rather get COVID than listen to this,” he said on the Todd Starnes Radio Show Wednesday.
