Country singer Toby Keith released another patriotic anthem this year ahead of Independence Day, calling out the Left for “broken-down cities” and saying the Right can’t seem to get it right.
With other songs like “Made in America,” “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue,” and “American Soldier,” Keith released “Happy Birthday America,” which has already garnered over a million views on YouTube.
“Seems like everybody’s pissin’ on the red, white and blue,” Keith says. “Happy birthday America, whatever’s left of you.”
He points out that America saved the world during WWI and WWII.
“Now your children want to turn you into something other than yourself. They burn your flag in their city streets more than anybody else,” Keith sings.
“Who they gonna count on when you’re not there to take their call? Will the world keep right on spinnin’ without the greatest of them all?” he asks. “Without the helping hand of God, your days are numbered my old friend…you were the best that’s ever been.”
