A Virginia mother took on the Fairfax County School Board over Critical Race Theory (CRT) policies that are being taught in her son’s public high school.
“The principal at our high school told us that our mostly minority students and parents had to check their privileges,” Asra Nomani told the school board.
She called out the board members, one-by-one, over their attacks on Asian-American parents and students.
“Our students were told if they do salsa dancing it amounts to cultural appropriation,” she said.
She also took issue with the board considering removing a policy that would protect students from left wing activisits.
“You dare to tell us you are going to consider removing the one policy that parents have to defend their students from indoctrination and activism.”
Nomani, an author and former Georgetown University professor, shared a clip of her speech to the school board.
“I spoke from my heart…watch board chair Ricardy Anderson rage at me. Didn’t she get the memo that watching the clock is ‘white supremacy’?” Nomani tweeted. “She reveals the board’s true anti-Asian animus.”
One of the board members then shouted down the parent and ordered her to return to her seat. This is a must-watch video.
