DEVELOPING STORY: Hurricane Helene made landfall southwest of Perry, Florida in the Big Bend. There are reports of severe storm surge and widespread flooding. Damage reports are already coming in across the region. Hurricane warnings have also been posted as far inland as south Atlanta.
