Police say Mr. Baldwin discharged a prop firearm on a New Mexico movie set.
Director of photography Halyna Hutchins was killed. Director Joel Souza was injured. The local sheriff’s department says charges have not been filed.

The irony is that Mr. Baldwin was working on a western film that involved weapons he believes the average American should not possess.

He once called for lawmakers to re-think the Second Amendment. He also joined a Hollywood effort to destroy the National Rifle Association.
Perhaps he should consider taking a gun safety course? The National Rifle Association has a number of classes being held around the nation.
In 2017 there was an officer-involved shooting in California. In response, Mr. Baldwin wrote the following message on Twitter: “I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone.”
Sadly, Mr. Baldwin now knows the answer to that question.
