Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was charged with a misdemeanor “sex crime” complaint, NBC New York reports.
The disgraced Democrat is expected to be arrested next week, charged with forcible touching, according to the New York Post.
The filing in Albany City Court comes two months after Cuomo resigned following allegations of sexual harassment.
“As this is a sex crime, a redacted complaint will be available shortly,” spokesman Lucian Chalfen said.
If convicted, Cuomo will have to register as a sex offender, The Post added.
