ESPN Slammed for Bubba Wallace ‘Noose’ Special, Compared to Jussie Smollett’s Hoax

ESPN announced its new documentary staring NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, who made headlines for an alleged hate crime committed against him, but an FBI investigation found it was all fake.

Despite Wallace’s narrative being debunked, ESPN continued pushing the hoax in the new special: “Last year, a noose was found in Bubba Wallace’s stall at Talladega Superspeedway…”

“It was a freaking door handle, folks,” national radio host Todd Starnes wrote in an op-ed at the time.

This was met with a lot of pushback as viewers aren’t falling for the advertisement, some comparing it to Jussie Smollett’s hoax.
