Never Trumper Jonah Goldberg originally blamed the Interstate 95 disaster on incoming Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin (R), when Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, is still in office.

“If I was Glenn Youngkin I’d be flooding the zone to get this I-95 crap fixed,” Goldberg tweeted Tuesday morning. “DC suburbs are vengeful about this kind of thing.”

He later added, “Sorry, Northam’s still gov.,” but Goldberg deleted the tweets a few hours later, adding an explanation: “I deleted the original tweet because even tho I quickly admitted my error, I’m still getting dumb replies from people who don’t know that or don’t care.”

Missing from his timeline is criticism for Northam, who is facing outrage from journalists and motorists who have been trapped on I-95 for more than 18 hours.

National radio host Todd Starnes called out Goldberg and others for their stupidity.

“To the idiots calling for Glenn Youngkin to call out the National Guard: He’s not governor, yet. Educate yourself,” Starnes tweeted, adding the hashtag, “morons.”

Goldberg, along with Stephen Hayes, resigned from Fox News Channel over Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 documentary.
