First Lady Jill Biden is in hot water.
She compared Hispanic Americans to breakfast tacos. Happened the other day at a speech to Hispanics in San Antonio.

“Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength,” Biden said.
She also mispronounced the word bodega. She said “bogeda.” Which is bizarre seeing how Dr. Biden is a college professor.
It ranks right up there with the time she butchered the phrase meaning “yes, we can.” She sounded like Sylvester the Pussy Cat. Or the time her husband played salsa music during a campaign stop in Miami.
TACO WORD SALAD: Jill Biden Botches Bodega
There’s nothing worse than old white folks engaging in cultural appropriation.
The National Hispanic Journalism Association pushed back – assured the nation they were not tacos.
“We are not tacos,” wrote the NAHJ in a statement criticizing Biden.
“NAHJ encourages Dr. Biden and her speech writing team to take the time in the future to better understand the complexities of our people and communities,” the group added.

The First Lady apologized and that was that.
“The first lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community,” Michael LaRosa, the first lady’s spokesman, said.
But consider how the media handled President Trump’s South of the Border controversy.
He was photographed in Trump Tower eating a taco salad and the Democrats nearly impeached the guy.
Big Tech and Big Media accused the former president of xenophobia as well as having a limited culinary palate.
It’s hypocrisy.
Just imagine if President Trump had told a gathering of the NAACP that they were as diverse as a bucket of fried chicken. See what I mean?
But the media and the politicians gave Jill Biden a pass — even though her husband is one chalupa shy of a Taco Bell combo platter.
