Third of Americans Give Biden ‘F’ for First Year: Poll
More than two-thirds of Americans say the country is on the “wrong track” and one-third give President Biden a failing grade for his first year in office, according to a new Politico/Morning Consult poll.
About 37 percent gave Biden an “F” while only 11 percent gave him an “A.”
Unfortunately for Biden, he did even worse than former President Trump, who received a flunking grade from 35 percent of Americans at the same time in his presidency.
Biden did worst on the economy, immigration, and “restoring unity,” getting around 40 percent giving him a failing grade.
However, he did score better on COVID and healthcare, where around a third of the country gave him an “A” or a “B.”
And once again, more than half, 56 percent, disapprove of Biden’s job so far, while 40 percent approve.
According to the survey, 68 percent of voters believe the country is on the “wrong track,” compared to the 32 percent who say it is going in the “right direction.”
