Will Biden's Asia trip be a success?

They were not assigned to the presidential team but were there for logistical reasons, a source told Fox News. One of the agents, who got into an altercation about a taxi, was interviewed by police but no charges were filed.

“The Secret Service is aware of an off-duty incident involving two employees which may constitute potential policy violations,” USSS chief spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told Fox. “We have very strict protocols and policies for all employees and we hold ourselves to the highest professional standards.”

It was reported that a member of President Biden‘s advance security team was arrested in Seoul, South Korea for allegedly getting drunk and assaulting a Korean citizen, according to police.

A Yongsan district police official told Reuters that the team member, who works for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was arrested early Thursday for reportedly getting into a fight over a taxi.

The incident took place the day before Biden arrived in South Korea at the Grand Hyatt hotel, where he is expected to stay.

South Korean broadcaster, TV Chosun, first reported that the suspect is a male in his 30s and was arrested after a guest at the hotel called police.

Biden touched down in South Korea Friday wearing a mask and only taking it off once he approached Korean officials there to greet him.

This is a developing story.
