President Biden said Thursday he has one qualification already picked for his nominee to the Supreme Court: a “black woman.”

Biden made the announcement as retiring Justice Stephen Breyer stood behind him at the White House.
Breyer will be replaced by “the first black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court,” Biden said. “It’s long overdue.”
The president said he will take suggestions from both sides of the aisle and plans to have a pick by the “end of February.”
And he also said he is fortunate to have Vice President Kamala Harris helping him, whom he praised as “an exceptional lawyer.”
National radio host Todd Starnes said he thinks it will be Harris.
Biden did not take questions from the press.
