Diamond and Silk, the famous Trump supporters, blasted Michelle Obama, the former first lady, for trying to stir up even more racial tension in the country by recalling a story about the time a white woman cut in front of her while standing in line at an ice cream store.
“Everything is not about racism,” Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway told the “Todd Starnes Show” on Tuesday. “It’s not about because you’re black, she cut in line.”
Todd Starnes, the host of the program, also expressed confusion about how Obama was able to extrapolate that the woman in question was racist from the relatively everyday interaction. Surely not every line-skipper is a raging racist.
But if you look for something to be offended about, you will find it. Which takes us to the scene of the offense: a Haagen-Dazs store.

Obama said she said her daughters had just finished a soccer game and told Secret Service agents to stand back so they could experience a taste of ice cream and the normal life.
“There was a line, and once again, when I’m just a black woman, I notice that white people don’t even see me. They’re not even looking at me. So I’m standing there with two little black girls, another black female adult, they’re in soccer uniforms, and a white woman cuts right in front of us to order. Like she didn’t even see us,” she said.
Obama said she called the woman out before she could place the order and the culprit “didn’t apologize, she never looked me in the eye, she didn’t know it was me.”
Starnes said there were many different possibilities that lead up to the interaction, and said the woman could have been simply a jerk.
“Maybe the lady was having a bad day,” Hardaway said. Rochelle “Silk” Richards interjected, “Maybe the lady wasn’t aware?”
The duo said that it was interesting that Obama called the woman out because if not for the support from white women in the U.S., her husband would never have been president. They said Obama’s attempts at playing the race card is “getting played out.”
Richards said that it was remarkable that Obama is still looking for ways to divide the country and “segregate black people from white people.”
“I think that it’s a disgrace,” she said. “I think that we need to be talking about unity here and how we can unite.”
