Democrat presidential candidate Bobby Francis O’Rourke, the Fake Mexican, disrespected the American flag during a campaign stop at the Iowa Veterans Home. He referred to Old Glory as “that kind of symbol.”
“I think it’s really important to take into account the impression that kind of symbol would have for many of our fellow Americans,” Bobby Francis told the crowd.
Perhaps someone should tell this dirt-eating Democrat that hundreds of thousands of men and women have sacrificed their lives for “that symbol.” Despots and dictators have been overthrown thanks to “that symbol.” And millions of oppressed people have been liberated thanks to that symbol.
Aides Wanted Flags Removed From VFW Hall
It’s not the first time the Fake Mexican has disrespected Old Glory.
The Dallas Morning News reports that in 2018 campaign aides asked veterans to remove American flags from a VFW hall in advance of a campaign stop.
“I didn’t only say no, I said hell no, you don’t take the flags off the wall. I can’t believe any American would ask us to do that and I don’t know why he wanted them down or what he was going to put up instead,” Post Commander Carl Dry said in remarks reported by the newspaper.
The campaign adamantly denied the allegations, but who would you believe – a war veteran or a guy who culturally appropriated a nickname?

Beto on the Nike/Betsy Ross flag controversy: “I think its really important to take into account the impression that kind of symbol would have for many of our fellow Americans, respect the decision Nike made and grateful for the conversation [that it is provoking]

Bobby Francis, who prefers to be addressed as ‘Beto’, also praised Nike for banning the sale of a patriotic shoe that featured the Betsy Ross flag design.
He claimed the 13-star flag has been been appropriated by some white nationalist groups, the Washington Times reported.
“The version of the flag that was used on Nike shoes in question has by some extremist/white nationalist groups been appropriated,” Bobby Francis told the gathering.
Obama Used Betsy Ross Flag
The irony, of course, is that President Obama flew not just one, but two Betsy Ross flags during his inauguration. Would that make President Obama a white nationalist?
Leave it to Donald Trump, Jr. to point out the Democrats double standard in a brilliant mic drop Twitter post:
Weird that no one had a problem with The Betsy Ross Flag when it flew over Obama’s inauguration. Now it’s not patriotic… ok got it. ? #morons https://t.co/wkxDRZs6bM

Eat dirt, Bobby Francis.
