A Florida man is going viral for saying, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, that he is voting for Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) even though he is a Democrat.
“I know that sh-t about DeSantis, but that gas is here in Arcadia. I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but it’s here in Arcada, so y’all know who we’re voting for,” the man said.
“I don’t know who the rest of you mother f–ers, I’m voting for DeSantis and I’m a Democrat,” he added.
Then a woman off camera scoled him for using foul language, “We got children out here.”
He replied, “Okay, I’m sorry, ma’am.”

Christina Pushaw, rapid-response director for DeSantis’s reelection campaign, responded to the video.
“I think a lot of people could relate to what he is saying here. At the end of the day, it’s smart to vote for the person who is there for you and your community in a time of need, regardless of party,” she said.
