Vice President Kamala Harris held a private meeting with several black female activists Monday, one of whom has said “f– the white women,” Fox News reports.
The members of the Black Women Leaders and Allies, including Cora Master Barry, an appointee of Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, reportedly shared ideas about civil rights and voting issues.
“F— white women,” Barry said in a November 2020 Zoom call video. “Excuse me — forget the white women. They’re going to do what the white men tell them to do.”
The activist said her group has to “get real serious” about getting Harris in the Oval Office because “those white folks ain’t gonna put her in there.”
She added: “They be smiling in their faces, they want to stay in charge. I don’t care nothing about them, we gotta do what we gotta do.”
Barry also attacked Trump supporters.
“I’m not saying everyone who voted for Trump is wearing a white sheet, but they got one in their closet and it comes out when we start messing with the economic value or the balance of power.”
