First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, who is quadruple vaccinated, tested positive for COVID Wednesday, according to her staff.
Mrs. Biden got COVID while she was on vacation with the president and first son Hunter Biden in South Carolina last week.
“After testing negative on Tuesday, just now, the First Lady has tested positive for COVID-19 by antigen testing,” Elizabeth Alexander, the first lady’s communications director, said in a statement.
“This represents a ‘rebound’ positivity,” Alexander said.
“The First Lady has experienced no reemergence of symptoms, and will remain in Delaware where she has reinitiated isolation procedures. The White House Medical Unit has conducted contact tracing and close contacts have been notified,” she added.
President Biden announced Wednesday he will use taxpayer money to pay off some $300 billion in student loans. Click here to read the full story.
