Citing the resurrection of Jesus, Schumer lauded the Senate’s confirmation vote of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson at the Christian Cultural Center.

“The Lord knows it took to long to get here, but now that we’re here, there’s no going back. The stone has been rolled away from the tomb,” Schumer said.

The clip was shared by “Woke Preacher Clips” on YouTube showing A.R. Bernard, the church’s pastor, heap praise on Schumer.

“This comparison is 100% blaspheming the resurrection of Christ, but Bernard and his congregation have nothing but love for Sen. Schumer before and after this speech,” the account wrote.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, who previously called on congregants at the church to be her vaccination “apostles,” was also at the service, WGRZ reports.
