Schumer downplayed the damage from stroke survivor Democrat John Fetterman’s debate performance against Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz to be the next Senator from Pennsylvania.
Former Democrat Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said Fetterman shouldn’t have debated in hindsight. Other Democrats worried that it could’ve ended their chances of flipping the Senate seat blue in November.
