Former President Trump made an announcement Monday that triggered Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
Trump, through his Save America PAC, blasted the November election as “The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020” and said it “will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!”
Cheney, the leader of the House GOP conference and whom Trump has called a “warmongering fool,” responded on Twitter.
“The 2020 presidential election was not stolen. Anyone who claims it was is spreading THE BIG LIE, turning their back on the rule of law, and poisoning our democratic system,” Cheney said.
Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes said Monday it seems like Cheney is holding the rest of the Republican Party hostage by constantly going after Trump.
The anti-Trump politician’s low polling numbers in Wyoming come as Trump is set to begin his famous “Make America Great Again” rallies soon.
