THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:

UPDATES:

2:05pm – The Latest In Vegas! Las Vegas Metro Sheriff Joe Lombardo disclosed new details in a briefing on the continuing investigation of the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting now referenced as 1 October.  Sheriff Lombardo addressed media outletson Monday at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police headquarters. In his opening statement, he revealed that Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos, who was shot in the leg after approaching the room occupied by Stephen Paddock, was injured at9:59 p.m., which is a few minutes prior to the mass shooting that claimed the lives of 58 innocent concertgoers and injured hundreds more.  Paddock is believed to have checked into the resort suite on Sept. 25, instead of the 28 as authorities first reported, Sheriff Lombardo said. Lombardo added that investigators are attempting to establish a timeline of Paddock’s whereabouts from Sept. 25 through the 28.  Investigators expect to release a definitive timeline of Paddock’s actions prior to the shooting once it is complete. At this time, Sheriff Lombardo said he could not disclose the details of the timeline.  In response to rumors circulated on social media, Sheriff Lombardo said there is no evidence to suggest a second shooter exists and added that Paddock was not linked to any “ideologies” that could have influenced the massacre.  Paddock was found to have visited Las Vegas about 200 times but did not interact much with other people while in town, according to Sheriff Lombardo.  Investigators will continue to probe the festival site and the hotel suite for at least another week, Lombardo said.

THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:

UPDATES:

1:05pm- Liddle Bob! Dusting off an old nickname, President Trump blasted “Liddle Bob Corker” on Tuesday and said the Republican senator sounded like “a fool” in his latest New York Times interview — escalating one of the nastiest feuds the president has had with a sitting GOP lawmaker. “The Failing @nytimes set Liddle’ Bob Corker up by recording his conversation. Was made to sound a fool and that’s what I am dealing with!” Trump tweeted Tuesday.  The tweet on Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., was the latest jab in a war of words that’s been building since the weekend. In his interview with the New York Times on Sunday, Corker, who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the president has treated his office like “a reality show,” and is leading the U.S. down “the path to World War III.” “He concerns me,” Corker said. “He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.”  Trump and his allies have not backed down, with the president now giving Corker the same nickname treatment he gave 2016 GOP presidential primary rival Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. — whom he tagged “Liddle Marco.”

1:20pm- Banned! A Senate campaign ad by Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn was blocked on Twitter Monday because of a statement she made in the spot about the sale of fetal tissue for medical research. Blackburn, a Tennessee representative running to fill the retiring Sen. Bob Corker’s seat, said in the ad that she “stopped the sale of baby parts.” Guest: Rep. Marsha Blackburn who is running to replace Senator Bob Corker ( R-TN)

1:30pm- Hard Lines! President Donald Trump defended his hardline immigration demands Tuesday morning while criticizing Democrats for being soft on border security, saying Democrats “don’t care about safety for the U.S.A.” “The problem with agreeing to a policy on immigration is that the Democrats don’t want secure borders, they don’t care about safety for U.S.A.” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. On Sunday, Trump laid out his immigration policy goals that include funding a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and cracking down on sanctuary cities, among other things. Trump stated that the demands will be part of any deal to help young, undocumented immigrants. However, those demands will surely complicate the effort to deal with Democrats to help so-called “Dreamers,” undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children. On Monday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called the immigration demands from Trump a “non-starter.”

1:50pm- President Trump spent Columbus Day on the golf course with Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham. The South Carolina Republican joked: “How bad did he beat me? I did better in the presidential race than today on the golf course!”

THE FIRST HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:

UPDATES:

12:05pm- Trump Play’s Football! President Trump took a shot at ESPN “SportsCenter” anchor Jemele Hill in an early Tuesday tweet that came the day after she was suspended by the sports network for suggesting that NFL fans could boycott advertisers and vendors associated with the Dallas Cowboys, whose owner has ordered players to stand for the national anthem or be benched “With Jemele Hill at the mike [sic],” Trump tweeted, “it is no wonder ESPN ratings have ‘tanked,’ in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!” Hill was suspended Monday for what ESPN said was a second violation of its social media policy within the past few weeks. After Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told his players that they would be benched if they did not stand for the national anthem, Hill tweeted that NFL fans could choose not to patronize the team’s vendors and advertisers, which would conceivably would affect the network’s bottom line as a broadcast partner that pays to carry NFL games. She previously ran afoul of network executives and the policy in September when she tweeted that President Trump was a “white supremacist.” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called the remarks “a fireable offense” days later during a press briefing and Trump demanded an apology for the “untruth.”

12:20pm- Question: Why did she get a pass for the first Tweet? 888-788-910
