As many as 5,200 U.S. troops will be sent to the southern border to stop a fast-approaching invasion force of Central Americans. In addition, the Air Force will airlift in some 400 Border Patrol personnel.
The mission is titled, “Operation Faithful Patriot.”
Troops will be staged in South Texas, Arizona and California, Fox News reports. There are approximately 2,000 National Guard troops already on the ground.
“This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you,” President Trump warned the invaders via Twitter.
“Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border,” the president wrote. “Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process.”
