Major League Baseball is investigating longtime umpire Rob Drake after he posted a message on Twitter suggesting there would be a civil war if President Trump was impeached.
Drake tweeted that he planned to buy an AR-15 rifle “because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020”, according to a copy of the tweet obtained by ESPN.
Drake also raised issues with the Democrats holding impeachment inquiries in a secret basement room, ESPN reported.
“You can’t do an impeachment inquiry from the basement of Capital Hill without even a vote! What is going on in this country?”
Drake reportedly deactivated his account Wednesday.
Doesn’t Major League Baseball have more important things to do than investigate a guy’s personal Twitter feed. And what was so offensive about what he wrote?
Mr. Drake, like every other American, has the right to free speech and the right to bear arms.
And as I warned people in my new book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation,” I believe we are indeed on the verge of another civil war.
Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service reports that 67 percent of Americans believe we are nearing civil war.
“The majority of Americans believe that we are two-thirds of the way to being on the edge of civil war. That to me is a very pessimistic place,” executive director Mo Elleithee told the Washington Examiner.
Fascists in the Mainstream Media accused Mr. Drake of “threatening” to buy an AR-15. Well, that’s his God-given right under the United States Constitution.
It’s a mighty sad day when a red-blooded American is lynched by the propagandists in the media.
Sadly, it appears that some of our most beloved sports institutions have been overrun by the culture jihadists – from the National Football League to the National Basketball Association.
Let’s just hope Major League Baseball has the courage to defend one of its own. Speak softly and carry a wood bat.
