“Goodyear Can Kiss My Butt,” Angry Garage Owner Tells Todd Starnes

Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company‘s statement on its Blue Lives Matter and MAGA bans was filled with as much hot air as their blimps, the White House suggested.

The White House on Wednesday said Goodyear failed to clarify its policy in a statement after an employee posted a photo of categories that are “Acceptable” and “Unacceptable” for its employees that included a ban on MAGA hats and slogans like “Blue Lives Matter.”

Goodyear released a statement that said its longstanding policy is “zero tolerance for any forms of harassment or discrimination.” It said that associates should refrain from “workplace expressions in support of political campaigning” as well as “similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues.”

The company made it clear it is, however, acceptable to support Black Lives Matter and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride.”

The controversy was sparked after a staff worker in Topeka posted a screenshot from a recent training session – showing the company’s new policy regarding political speech. President Trump was swift to respond to the report. He tweeted, “Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES—They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less.”

“TJ from North Carolina” called in to the Todd Starnes Radio Show said enough is enough.

“I’ll never sell another Goodyear tire,” said TJ, the owner of a garage. “Goodyear can kiss my butt. Enough is enough, Todd.”

The president tweeted that his call to boycott the famous tire company is “what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!”

Trump was referring to the country’s shift to cancel culture and how Democrats have called for boycotts ranging from movies, MyPillow and Goya. The strong-armed tactic seemed to be effective and many critics of the Black Lives Movement refuse to speak out publically out of fear their lives will be ruined.

Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary, said at a press conference that the company failed to clarify its position. She said a “certain ideology” was cleary targeted.”

She said the company’s ban on Blue Lives Matter is a clear affront to those who are targeted across the country who wear a badge.

“Black Lives Matter, an organization whose, in their D.C. branch, said, ‘Black Lives Matter means defund the police,’ one of their president’s in New York said, ‘We will burn down the system.’”

She said Goodyear has to come out and acknowledge that Blue Lives Matter is an “equity issue.”

“The president will never apologize for standing with law enforcement, he won’t,” she said. Fox News reported that McEnany said, “MAGA is unanimous with Blue Lives Matter these days, if you’ve seen the endorsements.”
