In a bizarre video going viral on Twitter, a biological male complains about the pain from a period after getting “HRT,” or hormone replacement therapy.
“Trans girl experiences first intense period after HRT,” the video states.

Many were quick to point out the absurdity of the video.
“Only women have uteruses and only women can menstruate,” Libs of TikTok said.
A mother of two explained, “female menstrual cramps are literally caused by the release of a hormone called prostaglandin, which makes the uterus contract. That person has NO uterus, NO fallopian tubes, No eggs, NO female hormones that trigger menstruation.”
