Former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley shot back at Sunny Hostin Tuesday after “The View” host accused her of being a “chameleon” for going by a different name.
When co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin brought up the former governor of South Carolina, Hostin went off: “What’s her real name again?”
She accused her of not embracing her Indian ethnicity.
Haley responded on Twitter:
“Thanks for your concern @Sunny. It’s racist of you to judge my name,” Haley said.
“Nikki is an Indian name and is on my birth certificate—and I’m proud of that,” she explained. “What’s sad is the left’s hypocrisy towards conservative minorities. By the way, last I checked Sunny isn’t your birth name…”

Hostin was even called out by her co-hosts.
“Sunny, you go by a different name,” Sara Haines said with a laugh. “I didn’t want to be the one to say it, but…”
Whoopi Goldberg, who closed out the segment, also goes by a different name than her birth name, Caryn Elaine Johnson.
