Former President Trump slammed CNN host Don Lemon on Truth Social after the CNN host was booted from his primetime slot.

Lemon hosted his show “Don Lemon Tonight” for eight years.
“A small step for television, a giant step for mankind,” Trump wrote on his new social media platform. “Don Lemon, often called ‘the dumbest man on television’ having made even Lebron James look smart during their interview two years ago, has been FIRED from his prime time evening spot on CNN – extremely low ratings – and will be thrown into their ‘Death Valley’ morning show.”

“I assume this means a BIG salary cut prior to his Complete & Total future firing from Ratings Challenged (to put it mildly!) CNN. Good luck Don, you’ll need it! MAGA!!,” the former president added.
Trump also criticized Lemon for his bad ratings claiming “If he interviewed Elvis, back from the dead, nobody would watch.”
In the social media posts, Trump repeatedly referred to Lemon as “the dumbest man on television.”
Lemon announced his position change during his show but defensively claimed it was his choice to give up his primetime slot.

“And for all of those who are out there saying, oh, he moved me, and without my — he asked me and I said yes,” Lemon said. “I could have said no. This is my show. I have a contract for this show. I decided that I would take him up on that and take this journey with him.”

This comes after the far-left news network hired a new CEO, Christ Licht, who has made other significant changes to the host lineup.
Most notably, CNN recently fired Brian Stelter, the former host of “Reliable Sources.”
