Biden sat down for an interview with “60 Minutes,” reportedly his first time in 223 days.
“You are the oldest president ever,” Scott Pelley said.
“Pretty good shape, huh?” Biden responded.

Then Pelley asked, “You are more aware of this than anyone, some people ask whether you are fit for the job, and when you hear that, I wonder what you think.”
“Watch me,” Biden said. “If you don’t think I have the energy level, the mental acuity, then that’s one thing. It’s another thing of just watch me and keep my schedule, do what I’m doing.”
Biden said when he sits down with NATO allies they don’t ask him how old he is.

“It’s a matter of that old expression, the proof of the pudding’s in the eating,” he added.
“How would you say your mental focus is?” Pelley asked.
“Well it’s focused,” Biden said as he laughed.

“Look, I have trouble even mentioning, even saying to myself, in my own head, the number of years. I no more think of myself as being as old as I am than a fly,” Biden explained.
