Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) slammed the Pentagon under President Biden for injecting “wokeness” into the U.S. military on the Todd Starnes Show Wednesday.
Fallon, who serves on the Armed Services Committee, said it was “revolting” that the Marines posted a Pride Month post with rainbow-colored bullets.
“This is what the military serves. So you can have the liberty to do what you want,” he told host Todd Starnes. “But don’t force-feed it down our damn throats.”
Starnes said Pride Month should not be the focus of the military, at the very least.
“I don’t want my military to be political in any regard,” Fallon explained. “I want them to be lethal and efficient and have unit cohesion. And I want the latest weaponry to be in the hands of our best soldiers and sailors and airmen and Marines. And that’s it.”
Fallon called on the generals “toeing the line” for Democrats to resign for doing the wrong thing.

Starnes: [00:45:51] You know, speaking of that, speaking of safety, Congressman, in the first hour of the show, we were talking about the Marine Corps going woke. They just posted on Twitter this morning a gay pride salute that includes a combat helmet and on the combat helmet are rainbow colored bullets for pride month. I mean, do you have concerns about military readiness and what the military’s actually focused on these days? [00:46:20][29.3]
Fallon: [00:46:21] I find that revolting. And I’m on the Armed Services Committee, and that’s the first I’ve heard of this. This is I don’t want my military to be political in any regard. And Biden, it started with Obama. They started to politicize the military because it was kind of probably they saw it as the last bastion of, you know, being dominated by conservativism or something along those lines. Remember when talk radio did really well, you know, still does. They wanted to eliminate talk radio. They wanted to make sure that there was equal time and all this other garbage. They need to dominate the message constantly. And we’re going to things are going to change come November when we have not the red wave with the red tsunami and the Republicans, I should say, the adults in the room are in the majority and we’re going to eliminate this stuff and we’re going to send a clear message to the military that you can end the wokeness. So that’s the ironic part of it. But don’t force feed it down our damn throats. And that’s not a taxpayer on the taxpayer dime. And you know, and I told some of the ranking generals, I said, I don’t want you to be a Democratic general and I don’t want you to be a Republican general. Dammit. I want you to be an American general. And you know what? Have some honor and stuff, you know, toeing the line for your Democratic masters and resign then because, you know, what they’re doing is wrong. [00:48:14][32.6]
