Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson wiped away tears Wednesday night as Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) shouted a political speech at her.
“You faced insults that were shocking to me! Well, actually not shocking,” Booker said as Jackson raised the tissue to her eye.
“You got five more folk to go through,” he told her. “And then you can sit back and let us have all the debates…they’re going to accuse you of this and that…but don’t worry, my sister, don’t worry.”
Booker concluded, “God has got you. And how do I know that? Because you’re here and I know what it has taken for you to sit in that seat.”

Booker, who has been mocked for similar moments in the past, was lambasted online but also praised by the Left.
“He is on the wrong coast. He needs to take his acting and drama skills to Hollywood!” Amy Holt Reynolds wrote on national radio host Todd Starnes’ Facebook page.
“Lmaooooooo why does this sound like a high school theater kid,” one user wrote.
“Why men shouldn’t go Vegan, the video,” another wrote.
“This is every white guy English major, lit off the lime-a-ritas at a frosh week house party.”
