President Trump says the evidence is conclusive that the Deep State spied on his campaign — and he wants the guilty parties charged with treason.
“My campaign for president was conclusively spied on,” the president declared on Twitter. “Nothing like this has ever happened in American politics. A really bad situation. Treason means long jail sentences and this was treason.”

The president has a point — an untold number of people tried to stage a Deep State coup with the purpose of overthrowing a duly elected president.
CNN propagandist Jeffrey Toobin called the president’s tweet a “grotesque abuse of power.”
“Treason is a crime for which death is a potential penalty,” he said. “It is so reckless and irresponsible to talk that way.”
Attorney General William Barr told Fox News they need to determine whether government officials abused their power and spied on the president and his team.
“I’ve been trying to get answers to questions, and I’ve found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate, and I’ve also found that some of the explanations I’ve gotten don’t hang together. So, in a sense, I have more questions today than I did when I first started,” Barr said.
The Deep State might want to consider lawyering up and packing a toothbrush because this attorney general doesn’t play games.
